RN-BS program-Accreditation Requirements
• Associates – regionally and programmatically (CCNE/NLNAC/ACEN) accredited
• Diploma – Programmatically accredited(CCNE/NLNAC/ACEN)

RN-MS and MS programs-Accreditation Requirements
• Programmatically accredited (CCNE/NLNAC/ACEN)
• Any transfer credits wishing to be applied must be from a regionally accredited institution

Post-Grad Cert programs-Accreditation Requirements
• Programmatically accredited (CCNE/NLNAC/ACEN)

DNP Program-Accreditation Requirements
• Programmatically accredited (CCNE/NLNAC/ACEN)
• Any transfer credits wishing to be applied must be from a regionally accredited institution

DNP Updates
• Advanced Practice Nursing includes Nurse Practitioners (NP), Clinical Nurse Specialists (CNS), Clinical Nurse Leaders (CNL), Nurse Anesthetists (CRNA), and Nurse Midwives
• Minimum of 200 clinical hours from graduate or post-grad programs
• APRNs do not need to have a current Advance Practice license, only a current RN license. If student holds a current Advanced Practice license, this must be submitted along with any board certifications.

Work Experience Update – MS programs

• If student has less than one year of experience at time of admission, that is okay, but must be currently working as a registered nurse at time of admission

Work Experience Update – RN to MS programs

• If student has less than one year of experience at time of admission, student must have a minimum of 8 months and currently working as a registered nurse

RN to BS updated course sequence

• NSG 290a (8 weeks)
• NSG 290b (8 weeks)
• NSG 346 (8 weeks)
• NSG 347 (8 weeks and 1st true clinical course, 45 hours)
